Role Overview
Upland Unified School District is seeking an AVID Tutor to support junior high and high school students in an on-site role. The position may place the selected candidate at Upland High, Pioneer Junior High, or Upland Academy of the Arts depending on district needs.
Academic Background
Applicants should have a degree in Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science, Education, or another closely related subject area, or be working toward one. The district also considers candidates who are enrolled in or have completed a technical college or university program. Adults with a 2-year or 3-year post-secondary degree and an interest in supporting middle and high school learners are eligible as well.
Student Eligibility Requirements
Current college students must show a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, supported by an official college transcript, and must have completed at least 20 college credit hours.
