Role Overview
RHB Singapore is hiring a Branch Operations Executive to help keep branch activities running smoothly and to support day-to-day service delivery across the branch network when extra assistance is needed.
Branch Operations
- Contribute to the smooth running of the branch on a daily basis, and step in to assist other branches when staffing or resources are limited.
- Check customer identity details and confirm that every transaction request is properly authorised and supported by the right documents.
- Carry out cash-handling duties such as deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliation work.
- Support account opening activities.
- Keep transaction records and related documentation accurate and up to date.
- Perform additional duties as outlined in the Branch Operational Manual.
- Work closely with branch colleagues and the sales team to deliver efficient operations and strong customer service.
- Assist the Branch Operations Manager in ensuring equipment and facilities such as cash counting machines, ATMs, security systems, and other branch assets are properly maintained.
Customer Service Management
- Welcome customers and help them with enquiries and banking transactions.
- Share clear and timely information about RHB products and services.
- Help implement customer service improvement initiatives within the branch.
- Maintain consistent service quality by following retail banking service standards, operational procedures, and the effective use of customer service tools and technology.
Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management
- Follow regulatory requirements, risk controls, and internal procedures applicable to branch operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Good interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Strong customer-focused mindset.
- Careful, accurate, and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Comfortable using computer systems and common software such as Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to branch banking.
