Bus Driver

Overview

Element Materials Technology is seeking a driver to support its team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role is intended for candidates holding a valid UAE licence in category 5 or 6, with a background in construction material testing being a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Support or carry out soil, concrete, and aggregate testing activities.
• Help with density testing procedures.
• Collect concrete samples for compression and flexural testing.
• Support or perform slump tests.
• Assist with asphalt testing where possible; prior familiarity is preferred.
• Transport samples and reports between the relevant parties and locations.

Requirements

• Valid UAE driving licence for category 5 or 6.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• Previous exposure to construction material testing, ideally with a commercial test house or contractor.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Comfortable working under pressure.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads and routes.
• Proven history of safe driving.
