Car Wash Associate

Role Overview

In this position, you’ll help keep the car wash site clean, orderly, and running efficiently. The role is a key part of creating a positive customer experience while supporting day-to-day operations.

Key Duties

• Greet guests at the vacuum area, answer basic questions, and share details about the services offered.
• Keep the lot neat by sweeping, removing litter, and making sure all signs are clearly visible and in good condition.
• Check customer vehicles to help ensure a high-quality wash and strong customer satisfaction.
• Interact with customers, confirm they are happy with the service, and encourage satisfied guests to leave a Google review.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures, and watch for slip, trip, or other hazards that could affect staff or customers.
• Work closely with tunnel operators and managers to support efficient workflows and clear communication.
• Help monitor and report supply levels, including cleaning items and signage, to management.
• Replenish towels when needed and keep the facility clean and free of trash.

What You Need to Succeed

You should have a high school diploma or an equivalent credential. Prior experience in customer service or an automotive setting is a plus, but it is not mandatory. Strong verbal communication, good people skills, dependable attendance, and punctuality are important. You’ll need to stay focused in a busy environment, pay close attention to detail, stand for long periods, and work outside in varying weather conditions such as rain, snow, and sun. The schedule may include flexible hours, weekends, and holidays, and you must be able to lift up to 40 lbs safely.
