Role Overview
This full-time position is based on site in Tema. The Data Analyst will work with data from internal and client systems, turning raw information into useful insights for HR operations, workforce planning, and business decision-making. The role includes preparing reports and dashboards, spotting trends in recruitment, staffing, performance, and payroll, and sharing findings with management and client teams.
What You Will Do
- Gather data from multiple sources and organize it for analysis and reporting.
- Clean, verify, and structure datasets so they remain accurate and reliable.
- Build and maintain data models that support reporting and analysis.
- Create recurring reports and automate routine reporting tasks where possible.
- Develop dashboards and summaries that present key metrics and KPIs clearly.
- Review recruitment, staffing, performance, and payroll data to identify patterns and trends.
- Explain insights and recommendations to management and client stakeholders.
- Work with HR, operations, and client-facing teams to understand data needs and improve processes.
- Support responsible and secure use of data in line with privacy and compliance expectations.
Requirements
- Strong capability in data analysis and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets such as Excel and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Working knowledge of basic statistical methods.
- Ability to clean, validate, query, and document data using tools such as SQL and related methods.
- Understanding of business and HR analytics, especially workforce, recruitment, and performance data.
- Clear communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to present to non-technical audiences.
- Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Professional certifications in data analytics are an added advantage.
- Experience in HR, staffing, consulting, or similar service-based environments is beneficial.
- Familiarity with HRIS or workforce management systems is a plus.
- Applicants must be comfortable working on site in Tema and maintain high ethical and data privacy standards.
