Electronics Engineering Intern

About the internship

This part-time remote internship is for an electronics engineering intern who will support advanced PCB design work for complex multi-layer boards. The role involves working on high-speed and high-density digital hardware, while also coordinating with mechanical engineering teams to make sure the electronics fit the enclosure and satisfy physical constraints. Responsibilities

• Contribute to or lead the complete PCB layout workflow for sophisticated boards using 4 to 8 layers.
• Place and route digital building blocks such as MCUs, MPUs, and SoMs, while carefully handling high-speed connections including PCIe, MIPI CSI, and NVMe/SATA SSD interfaces.
• Work with mechanical engineering teams using EDA software and SolidWorks to align the board with the product enclosure and manage physical fit constraints.
• Create layer stackups, determine controlled-impedance requirements, and fine-tune differential pair length and delay matching.

Who can apply

Applications are open only to candidates who can work from home, are able to begin between 2 July 2026 and 6 August 2026, can commit to a 6-month internship, and have relevant skills and interest. Electronics engineering students are specifically encouraged to apply.

Stipend

The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 20,000 to INR 30,000.

Other requirements

• Candidates studying for or already holding a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. with a background in hardware, RF, photonics, or high-speed electronics are strongly preferred.
• Applicants should be comfortable using professional EDA tools such as Altium Designer, EasyEDA Pro, or Allegro.
• Practical exposure to designing and debugging boards with four or more layers is expected, whether from industry, research, or advanced academic work.
• Experience with, or a strong understanding of, signal integrity and power integrity analysis using tools such as Ansys HFSS, CST Studio Suite, or Keysight is a plus.
