Role overview
Bolt is seeking a practical, energetic Fleet Operations Driver to support shift-based work in Hamburg. The role focuses on moving e-scooters around the city so riders can always find a charged, safe scooter when they need one.

What the role involves
Your main job is to keep the city organized and scooter supply balanced by transporting vehicles, batteries, and damaged units as needed. You will help maintain fleet availability, support safety standards, and contribute to a smooth customer experience.
Core duties
- Operate company vans to pick up, reposition, and deliver e-scooters, including battery changes when required.
- Place scooters neatly so pavements and streets stay clear and orderly.
- Locate misplaced scooters, inspect their condition, and either return them to the warehouse or redeploy them in the city.
- Carry out small on-the-spot fixes to improve fleet availability.
- Support warehouse operations whenever the team needs extra help.
Candidate profile
The ideal person holds an EU category B driving licence, is comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles, knows the local area well, and can work safely and responsibly on the road. Experience as a professional driver can be helpful, but it is not the only thing that matters.
Bolt is especially interested in people who take initiative, handle practical challenges well, and approach work with ownership and integrity. You should also be comfortable using smartphones and mechanical tools, have strong local language skills, and English ability is considered an advantage.
