Role Overview
This contract opportunity is for a Frontend Developer focused on HTML and CSS. The position is fully remote and open to candidates working from any location. The work centers on creating and supporting responsive, user-friendly interfaces and turning design files into practical front-end elements.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and update front-end components using HTML, CSS, and closely related tools.
- Design layouts that behave well across browsers and screen sizes.
- Work with designers to convert mockups into polished, production-ready UI pieces.
- Improve page speed, usability, and accessibility where possible.
- Take part in code review cycles and help uphold development best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong command of HTML and CSS, including semantic structure.
- Hands-on experience with responsive and mobile-first design methods.
- Exposure to CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS, or UI frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind.
- Comfort using browser developer tools and troubleshooting front-end issues.
- Ability to implement designs from Figma, Sketch, or similar design platforms.
