JD Edwards (JDE) Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled JD Edwards (JDE) Developer with a strong background in modern data integration frameworks, big data, and cloud technologies. This role will focus on building and maintaining data pipelines and models to support advanced AI/ML analytics projects, ultimately aiming to enhance customer experience and drive global revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data programming languages such as Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop the logic for existing API endpoints, with architecture provided by the team.
• Create JD Edwards orchestrations and associated components.
• Collaborate with functional stakeholders to understand and implement requirements.
• Focus on JD Edwards Orchestrator for approximately 70% of the work.
• Handle JD Edwards Reports, Applications, and Business Functions for approximately 30% of the work.
• Note: This role does not involve responsibility for CI/CD or deployments, as these are managed by a separate team.

Technical Requirements

• Core Platform: JD Edwards (JDE)
• Minimum Experience: 10+ years in JD Edwards.
• Key Focus Areas: JD Edwards Orchestrator (approx. 70%), JD Edwards Reports, Applications, Business Functions (approx. 30%).
• Languages/Tools: JRuby is preferred and considered the primary language as recommended by Oracle in the latest tools release. Exposure to Jython/JPython is beneficial.
• JD Version: Any version 9.0 or higher is acceptable; the current environment is 9.2.
• Business Knowledge: A solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes is required.

Work location is Hyderabad, India. This is a full-time, onsite position.
