Laundry Attendant

Job Overview

We are seeking a driven and service-focused Laundry Attendant to support laundry operations and ensure guest laundry needs are completed promptly and to a high standard.

Key Duties

• Follow the hotel’s and laundry department’s policies and operating procedures at all times.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail to deliver consistently high-quality work.
• Handle the flat iron carefully and ensure it is properly maintained during use.
• Process food and beverage linen through the flat iron as required.
• Fold bed sheets and towels in line with hotel presentation standards.
• Carry out other tasks assigned by supervisors when needed.
• Stay fully aware of fire and safety procedures and comply with them strictly.

Education, Experience and Skills

The role is best suited to someone with vocational training in laundry operations and prior experience in a similar hotel laundry position. A good command of English and a warm, positive attitude are important.

Personal Attributes

You should be guest-oriented, polite, approachable, and comfortable working under pressure in a busy environment. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse colleagues and guests are also essential.
