About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide and oversee manufacturing technicians so the cell meets quality standards and delivery timelines.

  • Review overdue work and current workload, then forecast demand 3 to 6 months ahead to shape part scheduling and material release plans.
  • Make sure operators follow TPM requirements to support maximum machine availability.
  • Coordinate planning, implementation, evaluation, and issue resolution within the assigned area.
  • Handle discipline, attendance, safety, and quality matters for manufacturing technicians.
  • Organize, direct, monitor, and assess workflow in the cell.
  • Spot opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and recommend practical enhancements.
  • Train, mentor, and develop technicians while setting clear expectations and managing performance.
  • Prepare analysis and presentations for leadership when requested.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Aeronautical Engineering, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a precision engineering setting.
  • Availability to work bi-monthly rotating shifts.
