Fuse Energy is a renewable energy startup focused on accelerating the deployment of clean power at scale. The team applies first-principles thinking and modern technology to build a more efficient energy system. The company is building a vertically integrated energy business spanning solar, wind, and hydrogen project development, real-time power trading, and distributed energy installations. By selling directly to consumers, the business aims to remove intermediaries, reduce costs, and pass savings on to customers.

Fuse Energy is also developing the Energy Network, a decentralised system of smart devices that rewards users with Energy Dollars for electrifying homes, shifting demand to off-peak times, and supporting grid balance. This infrastructure is intended to improve grid stability and help enable the growth of AI data centres and other energy-intensive industries.

Role overview

This operations role is broad and fast-moving, with work varying based on the company’s immediate priorities. The successful candidate will contribute across strategic, commercial, regulatory, and product-related initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support mergers and acquisitions activity related to energy generation assets such as wind turbines, solar farms, and similar projects.
• Help structure and fund a global business as it scales.
• Research and shape the launch of a new energy supply business from the ground up.
• Investigate financial and regulatory frameworks across different countries and regions.
• Collaborate with product leaders to create a smooth and user-friendly consumer experience.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree from a leading university in a STEM discipline, along with coding experience.
• A strong history of high achievement.
• A persistent, solution-oriented mindset.
• The ability to learn quickly and improve work through iteration.
• Comfort working independently as well as collaboratively.
