Role Summary

This full-time, on-site Painter position in Nigeria involves preparing surfaces and applying paint or other coatings to a range of materials. The role requires careful preparation work such as cleaning, sanding, filling, and masking before finishing begins. You will also mix paints to the correct shade and texture, apply coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, and ensure the final finish is smooth, even, and professional. The position includes caring for tools and equipment, observing safety practices, and storing paints and chemicals correctly. You will work closely with production and quality teams to keep work aligned with specifications, meet deadlines, and reduce waste and rework.

Key Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and masking where required.
Mix paints to match the required colour and consistency.
Apply paint and coatings using brush, roller, or spray methods.
Deliver even coverage and a neat, high-quality finish on different materials.
Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working condition.
Follow safety procedures while handling paints, chemicals, and related materials.
Store paints and chemicals properly to avoid damage or hazards.
Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet specifications and deadlines.
Help minimize rework, defects, and material waste.
