Principal Auditor

Role overview

This position is responsible for planning, reviewing, monitoring, and steering audit activities so they align with professional internal auditing standards. The role also involves conducting research, advising senior leadership, supporting internal audit management, and taking ownership of special and sensitive assignments. A key part of the job is checking audit reports for data accuracy and serving as a trusted business advisor on complex matters.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee, monitor, and guide audit work to ensure it complies with established internal auditing standards.

• Support internal audit leadership by managing special and confidential projects.

Education and experience

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a closely related field is required. Candidates must also hold an internationally recognized accounting or auditing qualification such as CPA, CIA, or an equivalent certification. Strong English proficiency is mandatory. The role requires at least seven years of total work experience, including a minimum of three years in a relevant function.
