Role Overview
We are seeking a Project Scheduler to support project planning and control for a Sydney-based engagement. The role focuses on building detailed project schedules, tracking progress against plan, identifying timing risks, and keeping stakeholders informed with clear schedule reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Build detailed, time-based schedules such as Gantt charts that map out project activities, milestones, resources, and dependencies, while working with project managers to keep updates current.
- Track schedule progress on a regular basis by recording completed tasks, actual dates, and any delays, and compare progress with the original baseline when needed.
- Spot likely scheduling issues, including bottlenecks, resource clashes, and timeline risks, then suggest practical corrective actions to protect delivery dates.
- Prepare regular, accurate, and concise status updates on schedule performance for project teams and other stakeholders.
- Help define the scheduling metrics that will be used to measure and monitor plan performance.
- Keep proper records of scheduling revisions and project activities for compliance purposes and future reference.
