Role overview
This position is focused on facilities and property operations across Singtel premises. The role supports smooth daily building management, service delivery, maintenance coordination, compliance, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement to keep sites safe, efficient, and well maintained.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise the managing agent and help ensure day-to-day facilities and property operations run smoothly across Singtel locations.
- Track service quality, maintenance activities, and contractor performance against required standards.
- Carry out site checks to confirm that buildings, mechanical and electrical systems, and facilities remain safe and operational.
- Coordinate maintenance planning, repair schedules, statutory obligations, permit renewals, and service contract renewals.
- Support tendering, purchasing, contract handling, and budget monitoring in line with company procedures.
- Review completed works, service requests, invoices, and expenses to support accurate and timely payments.
- Assist with operational planning, capital works, maintenance programmes, and CMMS administration.
- Handle tenant fit-out and renovation approvals, tenancy handovers, and compliance with lease conditions.
- Support fire safety initiatives, emergency readiness, and workplace safety activities with relevant teams.
- Respond to incidents, escalate urgent matters when needed, and coordinate resolutions with contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, tenants, and service partners.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by the Senior Manager or Manager, Facilities.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in building, facilities, or property maintenance management.
- Working knowledge of workplace safety requirements; Fire Safety Management certification will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Self-driven team player with a positive attitude, ownership mindset, and willingness to learn.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Capable of working independently while also coordinating well with cross-functional teams.
