Role overview

The position focuses on Software Asset Management, with responsibility for tracking licenses, monitoring usage, supporting compliance, and coordinating procurement-related activities. The role also involves working closely with internal teams and external vendors to keep software assets accurate, optimized, and audit-ready.

Key responsibilities

• Track and manage software licenses, entitlements, and vendor contracts.
• Review software usage information and identify opportunities to reduce waste or improve utilization.
• Assist with software audits and help ensure adherence to licensing requirements.
• Manage software-related requests, renewals, and purchasing coordination.
• Create management reports, dashboards, and insights related to licensing and asset status.
• Work with IT, Procurement, vendors, and business teams to resolve asset-related needs.
• Keep software asset records updated and support broader IT asset management activities.

Required skills and experience

• Hands-on background in Software Asset Management (SAM) or IT Asset Management (ITAM).
• Working knowledge of software licensing across vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, and Adobe.
• Experience using SAM/ITAM platforms such as Flexera or ServiceNow is preferred.
• Strong ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and work effectively in Excel.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Comfortable working with several teams in a busy, fast-moving environment.
