Programme Overview
The Solutions Graduate Programme runs over two years, with participants rotating through different placements across the Solutions team. Graduates will gain exposure to portfolio management, quant and advisory functions, building a broad understanding of investment strategies, structures and solutions while developing technical and analytical capabilities.
Man Group also provides professional study support, the opportunity to work toward the CFA qualification, and practical on-the-job training.
Candidates must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and sustain strong professional relationships with important investment stakeholders across the organisation.
- Develop a deep working knowledge of Man Group’s investment products.
- Partner with solutions investment and quant teams to help create portfolios across a wide mix of asset classes and investment styles.
- Review and present portfolio exposure, risk and performance information.
- Research and present approaches to solutions portfolio construction.
- Handle questions from both prospective and current investors.
- Support delivery of the wider solutions business strategy.
Requirements
- A university degree in a relevant discipline with at least a 2:1 classification.
- Strong interest in financial markets.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills for a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to take responsibility and work effectively both alone and in a team.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and initiative.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Good analytical thinking ability.
