Position Overview
Changan Automobile is hiring a Product Planning professional in Dubai to shape new vehicle products for a specific market. The role focuses on market analysis, product positioning, and lifecycle planning so the lineup matches local demand and competitive conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market feasibility studies for new products and define the product’s market position, competitive standing, user profile, concept, and configuration scope.
- Take part in building the market formula and related product planning decisions.
- Set product and development priorities for the assigned region based on company strategy, customer needs, and competitor activity.
- Track progress toward product definition targets and summarize the main selling points.
- Manage the product life cycle according to the plan and propose action strategies based on market trends, competition, and demand analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of automotive basic structure and operating principles.
- Knowledge of product planning and product development workflows.
- Proficiency with commonly used product planning tools and methods, along with familiarity with market research and user research processes and basic techniques.
- Excellent communication, coordination, organization, and planning abilities.
- High ownership, strong dedication, quick learning ability, and an innovative mindset for problem-solving.
- Strong interest in automotive innovation and in developing standout products.
- Good market insight, verbal communication skills, and teamwork capability.
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Experience in product planning or overseas product planning is preferred.
- Preference for candidates with a valid driving license and at least one year of real driving experience.
