Role overview
Gendelberg Law, PLLC is hiring an experienced Administrative Assistant for its immigration law practice, with work focused mainly on affirmative and defensive asylum matters. Working arrangement
This is a full-time, in-office position based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Remote or hybrid work is not offered.
Key duties
- Support attorneys, paralegals, and management with day-to-day administrative needs.
- Handle incoming telephone calls politely and route them to the right person.
- Arrange appointments, meetings, and client consultations.
- Prepare, file, scan, organize, and maintain both paper and digital records.
- Draft letters, correspondence, and other routine office documents.
- Keep track of emails and assist with communication involving clients.
- Help coordinate office operations and contribute to special projects as needed.
- Carry out general clerical and administrative work assigned by the team.

The preferred candidate will have prior experience in an administrative assistant, executive assistant, office assistant, or a similar support role. Compensation and benefits
The role offers a competitive salary of up to $80,000 based on experience. Additional compensation and benefits include paid overtime, annual performance bonuses, salary review opportunities every six months, and clear advancement potential into management.
