Civil & Structural Engineer

Role Overview

This position is for a civil and structural engineer to support construction project delivery in Singapore. The role focuses on site coordination, structural works monitoring, documentation, quality control, and compliance with relevant standards and client or authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate site activities, inspect works, and help keep the project on track for timeline, scope, and budget targets.
• Assist with project execution so that operations align with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements, along with approved procedures and requirements from clients, the company, and relevant authorities.
• Track and record the advancement of structural works in progress reports.
• Support commissioning activities, including structural engineering coordination.
• Keep inspection records and follow-up documents from the Resident Engineer properly organised and maintained.
• Help Quantity Surveyors with site measurements and inspections.
• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Work with the Safety Officer to ensure regulatory, industry, and site safety standards are followed during construction.
• Make sure all works meet quality procedures and standard workmanship expectations.

Requirements

• A minimum degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board of Singapore.
• At least 3 years of relevant local experience in the construction sector; experience with HDB projects is preferred.
• Strong analytical ability, communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
