Construction Inspector

Role Overview

The organization is hiring a Construction Site Inspector in Singapore to monitor works around sewer infrastructure and ensure construction activity remains compliant and safe.

Key Duties

• Identify manholes and sewer lines within construction areas, and capture photos of the site and related equipment.
• Take measurements where construction work is close to sewer corridors.
• Work with project managers, engineers, or property owners to obtain the necessary drawings and approvals.
• Examine manholes and sewer chambers for blocked flow, debris buildup, or any unauthorized discharge.
• Watch for unapproved activity, temporary toilet setups, or illegal sewer tie-ins.
• Escalate any breaches immediately to the WRN officer in charge.
• Record all observations with color photographs, including manhole identifiers and sewer flow directions.
• Prepare and submit a weekly inspection summary together with checklists and photo evidence.

Requirements

• A diploma in civil engineering or another construction-related discipline is required.
• Candidates must have their own vehicle and be Singapore residents.
• Prior experience in construction-related work is necessary.
