About the Company

Aum Staffing Services is hiring for a manufacturing setup that is a leading producer of two-wheeler seats in India. The business was established in 1987 and is preparing to begin operations for making aluminium alloy HPDC/LPDC components for two-wheeler OEMs in Hosur, Tamil Nadu.

Role Overview

The Engineer for the Assembly Shop will manage daily assembly-line execution, help maintain planned output, and support quality, safety, and process discipline on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out the day-to-day production plan for the assembly line.
• Ensure line balance is maintained and takt-time targets are met.
• Perform in-process quality inspections and help control defects.
• Work on improving productivity and overall output.
• Apply 5S, poka-yoke, and basic lean manufacturing methods.
• Follow SOPs and ensure safety compliance at all times.
• Coordinate with stores, quality, and maintenance teams as needed.

Requirements

• Strong basic knowledge of assembly processes and tools.
• Understanding of quality checks and defect analysis.
• Ability to coordinate well and handle shop-floor activities.
• Comfortable working in a production environment with cross-functional coordination.

Eligibility

Candidates with a B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering are eligible to apply.

Additional Information

This role is based in Hosur, India and is intended for on-site factory operations.
