Role overview

We are seeking a fresh graduate or early-career professional to join the data analytics team in an entry-level, full-time role based in Australia. The position is well suited to someone who is enthusiastic, precise, and keen to develop a career in data analytics and business intelligence.

In this role, you will work with sizeable datasets to identify meaningful patterns, support reporting needs, and contribute to better business decisions through data-driven insights.

Key responsibilities

Your day-to-day work will focus on preparing and analysing data, producing reports, and supporting wider business teams with accurate information and insights.

Gather data from different sources and prepare it for analysis.
Clean, verify, and structure datasets to keep information accurate and consistent.
Examine data to spot trends, patterns, and possible business opportunities.
Create reports, dashboards, and visual presentations to communicate findings clearly.
Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
Respond to one-off reporting requests as needed.
Protect data quality by maintaining integrity standards and documenting analytical work.
Work with teams across the business to understand requirements and translate them into useful insights.

Requirements

The ideal applicant will be analytical, detail-focused, and eager to learn. Strong communication and organizational skills are important, as the role involves both technical work and stakeholder interaction.

Good communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
