Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Adelaide, SA for a Full-stack Software Developer. You will work in a collaborative product team under the direction of the Lead Developer, with support from the Product Manager and alongside five software developers, a UI/UX designer, and a software tester.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and maintain Laravel APIs, background processes, and third-party service integrations.
- Create Vue 3 interfaces and pages using the Composition API and TypeScript.
- Work with Eloquent ORM, build advanced database queries, and improve database efficiency.
- Handle application state using Pinia and implement frontend validation with tools such as Yup or Vee-Validate.
- Investigate and resolve issues across the full stack, from database behaviour to browser-side rendering.
- Support AWS-related infrastructure work, including ECS, SQS, S3, CloudFront, and CI/CD workflows.
What We’re Looking For
- A solid grasp of software development fundamentals and sound coding practices.
- Hands-on experience developing backend systems with Laravel.
- Strong capability in Vue.js or another modern frontend framework.
- Working knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
- Ability to debug effectively, test thoroughly, and improve frontend performance.
- Comfort working with cross-functional teams.
- Bonus exposure to multi-tenant SaaS products.
- Experience in the residential construction industry is an advantage.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
