Graphic Designer

Role overview

Barnes Aerospace is looking for a Graphic Designer to develop compelling visual communication materials that align with brand standards and support marketing and corporate communication goals.

What you’ll do

• Develop original, high-impact designs that stay consistent with brand guidelines and follow strong design fundamentals.
• Create visual content for print, digital, email, and social media channels, including graphics and illustrations.
• Modify stock images and video assets so they fit the needs of each project and brand.
• Retouch, resize, edit, and optimize imagery and video for different uses.
• Update corporate presentations, pitch decks, and marketing collateral to support internal and external communication efforts.
• Maintain and revise SharePoint communication pages as needed.
• Organize and manage photo and video libraries along with other visual assets.
• Coordinate large-volume print jobs with outside vendors.
• Work closely with Communications and Marketing colleagues as well as partners in HR, Business Development, Engineering, and other teams to deliver polished communications across multiple channels.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of professional design experience in marketing, corporate communications, or public relations; experience in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, defense, or industrial sectors is an advantage.
• Strong ability in design, editing, and visual storytelling, supported by a portfolio that shows work across different formats and platforms.
• Experience designing visuals for social media campaigns, along with a solid understanding of social media content standards and best practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere, plus Microsoft Office tools such as SharePoint and PowerPoint, and Canva.
• Ability to simplify technical or complex subjects into clear, engaging content for varied audiences.
• Highly detail-focused, proactive, and able to work independently with initiative in a busy environment.
