Institutional Research Data Analyst

About the Role

Maynooth University is looking for an Institutional Research Data Analyst to join the Office for Institutional Research & Data Insights in Maynooth, County Kildare, Ireland. The office, under the leadership of the Director of Office for Institutional Research & Data Insights, is responsible for building, maintaining, and analysing data that informs university planning and decision-making.

This role supports the University’s growing reporting demands. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of the University Strategic Plan, assist with external reporting requirements, strengthen the use of data in quality review processes, and respond to increasing data needs connected to equality initiatives.

Role Purpose

The Institutional Research Data Analyst will be central to the university’s strategic planning, evidence-based decision-making, and overall institutional effectiveness. The role involves gathering, analysing, interpreting, and sharing institutional data with both internal and external audiences. A range of tools and analytical methods will be used to produce reliable, timely, and practical insights that support academic, administrative, and strategic activity across the university.

Salary and Pay

The post is graded at Administrative Officer II (2026) with a salary range of €47,387 to €67,129 per annum across 9 points. Pay will follow public sector pay provisions.
