Laundry Valet

Role Overview

As a Laundry Valet, you will handle guest laundry and valet requests with care, ensuring each item is collected, processed, tracked, and returned on time. The position calls for a strong focus on guest satisfaction, hygiene, accuracy, and a polished service approach.

Core Duties

• Welcome guests and co-workers in a polite, professional, and approachable way.
• Receive guest laundry and valet articles while recording any special handling notes or instructions.
• Label and monitor all items accurately throughout the laundry and valet workflow.
• Deliver collected laundry to the laundry department for processing.
• Keep complete and accurate records of orders, including billing details.
• Track order progress and coordinate closely with the laundry team.
• Respond to guest questions and resolve concerns connected to laundry and valet service.
• Return cleaned and pressed items to guests safely and within the required time frame.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-presented valet service standard.
• Work in coordination with laundry and housekeeping colleagues to support smooth daily operations.
• Follow environmental, safety, and hygiene requirements while performing all duties.
• Assist guests with additional service needs or information whenever required.
• Carry out all tasks in a safe and eco-conscious way to protect guests, colleagues, and the environment.
• Comply with the hotel’s environmental, health, and safety rules and procedures.
