Consumer insights and analytics

The role requires turning audience and market data into clear inputs for programming, content, marketing spend, and broader content decisions. It includes monitoring viewership patterns regularly, spotting meaningful shifts in consumer behavior, and working with cross-functional teams to test the viability of possible formats. The incumbent will also assess market potential, genre growth, and consumer preferences, while supporting post-launch performance review and launch planning.

A strong understanding of OTT content is important, along with the ability to build persuasive business cases for new ideas and pitches. The role also involves interpreting, presenting, and visualizing platform analytics shared by the ZEE5 team, and partnering with the platform team to support successful launches.

Competitor analysis

The position includes reviewing external research and preparing detailed evaluation reports to shape programming strategy. It requires ongoing tracking of ratings and performance across genres and competitor channel programming, as well as staying updated on industry developments, case studies, and regulatory changes through both internal and external networks.

Experience and education

This role is intended for professionals with 8 to 18 years of relevant experience. An MBA from a premier institute is required.
