Role Overview
Fresh Flo Corporation is seeking a highly organized and commercially minded Procurement Manager to oversee purchasing activity, supplier relationships, and sourcing operations. This position is centered on improving procurement efficiency, keeping supply flowing smoothly, and supporting wider business goals through smart buying decisions and strong vendor partnerships.
The role suits someone who enjoys strategic sourcing, negotiation, and operational problem-solving, and who can work closely with both internal teams and external suppliers to strengthen performance and control costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute procurement approaches that support business priorities and operational needs.
- Handle the full procurement cycle, from sourcing and purchasing through to supplier coordination.
- Find, assess, and build productive relationships with suppliers and other strategic partners.
- Lead contract, pricing, and service-term negotiations to secure the best possible value.
- Track supplier performance, product or service quality, delivery timing, and compliance standards.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand demand and improve purchasing plans.
- Oversee procurement budgets, cost reviews, and initiatives aimed at reducing spend.
- Develop and refine procurement policies, procedures, and working practices.
- Review market movements, supplier strengths, and industry changes to spot opportunities.
- Assist with risk controls tied to supply continuity, vendors, and purchasing activities.
- Produce procurement reports, performance summaries, and management recommendations.
- Guide, coach, and support procurement team members while encouraging continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of procurement workflows, sourcing methods, and vendor management.
- Strong ability to negotiate, communicate, and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with vendors, contracts, purchasing, and procurement operations.
- Comfort using procurement tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and supply chain fundamentals.
- Well-developed planning and time management skills with the ability to juggle several priorities.
- Capability to assess supplier performance and recommend improvements.
- Careful attention to detail and sound judgment in decision-making.
