About the Company

Role Overview
As a Search Planner, you will lead paid search efforts across APAC accounts, shaping strategy, improving performance, and supporting both client relationships and team development within a fast-moving agency environment.
Responsibilities
- Expand and improve paid search activity for APAC clients.
- Review new client accounts by running SEM audits and building paid search plans and proposals.
- Put SEM strategy into action across regional client accounts.
- Maintain strong SEM standards and ensure best practices are consistently followed.
- Monitor campaigns regularly, optimize performance, and keep activity aligned with client KPIs.
- Prepare weekly and post-campaign reports with key learnings and practical next steps.
- Communicate with clients on a regular basis about search performance, improvement areas, and recommendations.
- Evaluate automation tools and scripts that can improve SEM performance or make the team more efficient.
- Assist the Associate Director with new business efforts for clients seeking search strategy expertise.
- Guide junior team members, manage their workload, and provide support when needed.
- Oversee and develop direct reports.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of agency experience in paid search marketing.
- Strong working knowledge of Google SEM, Google SA360, and Google Ads Editor.
- Bonus exposure to Apple Search Ads, Google Shopping, and Adwords scripts.
- Comfortable using reporting tools and highly proficient with MS Office.
- Experience with data visualization platforms such as Datorama is an advantage.
- Strong numerical ability with the capacity to interpret results and turn data into insights.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal ability.
- Well suited to a fast-paced, evolving, technology-driven environment.
- Demonstrated success in delivering against client KPIs.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and proactive in solving problems.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
