Role Summary
Fanatics is hiring a detail-focused and proactive Supply Chain & Strategic Operations Associate for the Supply Planning team. This position may be based in New York, NY or Sunnyvale, TX. The person in this role will help ensure strong operational execution for the company’s upcoming global program schedule, working closely with Commercial, Brand, Project Management, Operations, and Supply Chain leadership to align investment decisions with available capacity and operational constraints.
Core Responsibilities
- Own a defined portion of the end-to-end capacity model covering demand versus capacity for the card manufacturing process.
- Keep the model aligned with current business realities and update it as conditions change.
- Identify and deliver improvements that strengthen the model’s accuracy, scalability, and coverage.
- Refresh the model according to the quarterly planning review cycle.
- Convert model results into practical insights that surface risks, constraints, and operational bottlenecks.
- Recommend actions backed by data to improve capacity, reduce risk, and match resources to forecasted demand.
- Share findings and recommendations with leadership to support decision-making.
- Work across teams to follow through on items raised during quarterly planning reviews.
- Help create high-level execution plans to close capacity gaps and address resource or process bottlenecks.
- Support supply chain leaders on high-impact initiatives that require analysis, modelling, or project coordination.
- Build and improve forecasting and operational planning tools.
- Assist with technology rollouts and process implementation work.
- Support capital expenditure planning, equipment selection, and installation analysis.
- Draft and maintain standard operating procedures to enable repeatable and scalable operations.
Required Experience and Skills
- 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain, operations, planning, finance, or analytics.
- Advanced Excel capability, especially in modelling and scenario analysis.
- Preferred exposure to business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
- Hands-on experience with planning models, capacity planning, forecasting, or operational performance analysis.
- Ability to interpret data and turn it into clear recommendations and insights.
- Strong focus on accuracy, detail, and data integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort presenting to cross-functional leadership teams.
- Ownership-driven, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
- Comfortable managing deadlines based on shifting business priorities.
