Role Overview

The Assistant Manager - Facilities is responsible for keeping facilities operations running smoothly across all locations and maintaining extremely high service availability. The role requires quick resolution of facility-related issues, strong process execution, vendor coordination, and an ongoing focus on cost control and service continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the facilities function across Cult, FF, and any other business formats, ensuring timely support to operations and maintaining 99.9% uptime.
  • Track and close facility-related tickets raised by center operations, audits, quality teams, and other stakeholders through the relevant ticketing platforms, including those connected to launches and FLS requirements.
  • Put systems and procedures into action on the ground so facilities support remains reliable and aligned to approved budgets.
  • Deliver support services within budget, monitor actual spend against plan, and introduce practical initiatives that reduce overall costs.
  • Coordinate with vendors and the assigned SPOCs to secure uninterrupted service, including creating backup arrangements for critical vendors to manage emergencies.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors capable of handling routine maintenance across centers.
  • Oversee testing of equipment and machines to support business continuity, using AMCs and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Plan and execute refresh and facelift activities, ensuring work is completed on time.
  • Review workmanship and material quality used by vendors and highlight improvement opportunities along with their business impact.
  • Maintain and share facilities-related MIS and records such as provisions, PPM schedules, cost trackers, and budget-versus-actual reports for the relevant regions.
  • Perform routine inspections and checks to confirm that all systems and processes are functioning efficiently and that schedules are maintained to minimize downtime.
