Bench Joiner

Role overview

We are looking for a Bench Joiner to support a manufacturing business in Leeds. This position is offered on a permanent basis and is based in Collingham, England, United Kingdom.

The role focuses on the accurate making and assembly of custom joinery products. You will work from technical drawings and specifications, using a mix of hand tools and woodworking machinery to create precise, consistent, high-quality parts and finished items.

Responsibilities

• Interpret CAD drawings to produce bespoke items to a high standard.
• Prepare precise cutting lists.
• Set up and run machinery as needed.
• Determine the most suitable jointing method for each application.
• Assemble display items in line with drawings and job sheets.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Carry out filling, sanding, and finishing work on timber products.
• Work closely with team leaders and the production manager.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
• Take on any other reasonable duties required by the business.
• Be available to work overtime when needed.
