Role overview

This position is responsible for transporting employees safely, punctually, and professionally in line with company rules and traffic laws. The role also involves vehicle care, accurate trip documentation, and support for HR transportation needs when required.

Key responsibilities

• Transport staff members to and from assigned destinations as directed by the Human Resources team.
• Stick to approved routes and timings so arrivals and departures remain on schedule.
• Observe all road regulations, internal transport rules, and safety procedures without exception.
• Carry out a daily pre-use check of the vehicle to confirm it is roadworthy and safe.
• Immediately notify the Assistant Director of HR of any collision, traffic offence, mechanical issue, or vehicle damage.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean and well maintained inside and out.
• Make sure employees board and exit safely whenever transportation is provided.
• Record trip details accurately, including mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle utilization.
• Use defensive driving methods to protect passenger safety and comfort.
• Handle employee and HR-related information with strict confidentiality.
• Assist with other transport needs tied to company events, training sessions, or urgent situations.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of relevant work experience, and a valid driver’s license. No supervisory background is required.
