About the role
Brightcove builds video experiences used by leading organizations to reach large audiences. This role is for a motivated, collaborative professional who will work with major brands and help them achieve ambitious business outcomes through the company’s products and services.
What you will do
- Own and support the B2B sales process, helping a fast-moving team grow a high-performing enterprise sales function through strong execution, process improvement, account management, and measurable commercial results.
- Identify promising prospects and make cold outreach to target companies to develop a strong pipeline of corporate clients that can drive revenue.
- Build a deep understanding of the market, including buyer motivations, business challenges, and the key stakeholders involved in purchase decisions.
- Work closely with the product team, communicate product value clearly, collect customer feedback, and share insights that can inform future product development.
- Track performance data closely, use metrics to assess effectiveness, and focus efforts on the most valuable opportunities.
- Deliver a consistently strong client experience at every interaction to earn trust and strengthen relationships.
What the company is looking for
- Strong personal drive, ambition, and follow-through, with a high level of ownership and commitment to excellent work.
- Clear analytical thinking and sound judgment, with the ability to solve difficult problems using first-principles reasoning and attention to detail.
- A genuine team-first attitude, including reliability, transparency, willingness to help, and support for the best idea rather than personal preference.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Compensation and contract
This position is permanent or fixed-term and is offered on a full-time basis. The role is fully remote. For candidates at the beginning of their career, the base salary in Singapore is typically SGD 58,000 to SGD 70,000 per year, plus performance-based variable pay. For candidates with substantial relevant experience, the base salary typically ranges from SGD 77,000 to SGD 87,000 per year.
Selection process
Shortlisted candidates will go through a screening stage followed by a couple of interviews. These conversations are intended to assess motivation, ambition, and the approach taken when facing unfamiliar problems. Applicants are encouraged to ask questions and learn more about the team, culture, and working style during the process.
The hiring bar is set high, and an offer will only be made when the right candidate has been identified. As a result, the role may remain open for an extended period or be reposted.
The employer also notes that many candidates, especially women, may avoid applying unless they meet every requirement. Here, potential is valued more than a perfect background, so people who believe they can grow into the role are encouraged to apply.
