Customer Care Representative

About the Role

FedEx is seeking a Customer Care Representative to join their team in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area. This full-time, onsite position involves managing various aspects of customer interactions and operational processes to ensure service excellence. The role requires adherence to defined procedures, accuracy, and compliance with internal and external standards. While resolving routine issues independently, complex cases will be escalated to senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries and provide quotes.
• Manage account creation and basic process onboarding for new clients.
• Process bookings and manage case management for customer issues.
• Address and resolve customer complaints and issues, including basic handling.
• Implement service recovery strategies and pro-active prevention measures.
• Manage claims handling and escalate complex issues for resolution.
• Perform ad-hoc inquiries and provide support for escalated customer concerns.
• Ensure completion of defined processes and procedures accurately and on time.
• Identify and resolve anomalies based on established rules and procedures.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC skills.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
