Role overview

This position is for an analyst with solid experience who wants to grow deeper into the point where marketing technology, product analytics, and healthcare outcomes meet. The role supports healthcare clients by turning digital data into practical insights that improve user experience and help drive business results.

You will join a collaborative consulting environment and work across functions to support strategic decisions, strengthen digital journeys, and deliver measurable value. Strong hands-on experience with product and web analytics is important, especially with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA). The ideal candidate is naturally inquisitive, enjoys building solutions, and is ready to move from understanding how analytics works to explaining why it matters.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up, configure, and maintain analytics tracking across healthcare websites and mobile apps so important user interactions are captured accurately.
  • Contribute to Adobe CJA implementations and ongoing support by creating data views, building workspace analyses, and resolving data mismatches.
  • Partner with engineering teams to deploy and test tags and scripts through tools such as Freshpaint or Tealium while supporting accurate and HIPAA-compliant data collection.
  • Develop and maintain tracking documentation, including event structures and naming standards.
  • Create client-ready performance summaries and supporting solution documentation.
  • Examine web and product analytics to uncover behavior patterns, conversion movement, and optimization opportunities.
  • Build dashboards, insights, and recurring reports in tools such as GA4, Heap, and Adobe CJA for healthcare audiences.
  • Use SQL, Python, or R to pull, clean, and reshape large datasets for deeper analysis and decision support.
  • Manage assigned workstreams within larger enterprise projects, meeting deadlines and flagging blockers or status changes early.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly in project meetings and adapt communication to different client needs.
  • Guide clients on analytics best practices, interpretation, and how to use data strategically to support growth.
  • Evaluate client requests to identify the real business need, and escalate risks or possible expansion areas when appropriate.
  • Stay current on healthcare analytics, compliance, privacy, and industry trends while maintaining a builder mindset.
  • Carry out other related duties that reasonably fit the scope of the role.
  • Travel may be required occasionally for client-site visits and the annual company meeting, roughly 5% to 10% of the time.

Required qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in digital analytics, technical consulting, or a closely related analytical role.
  • Practical, hands-on use of Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, including implementation, configuration, or analysis work.
  • Strong ability to analyze data, including cleaning, transforming, and interpreting datasets.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; computer science, MIS, or data science backgrounds are preferred.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with tag management tools such as Freshpaint or Tealium and visualization platforms such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Advanced SQL capability, including complex querying and database optimization, plus experience with R and/or Python.
  • Adobe certifications, such as CJA Business Practitioner, are highly valued.
  • Background in healthcare analytics, including familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare-specific data challenges.

Work environment and physical requirements

The role can be performed fully on-site, fully remote, or in a hybrid arrangement. Team members may work from approved locations in Virginia, Tennessee, or North Carolina unless job duties require otherwise. A modern office is available in Blacksburg, VA. The workplace is described as an indoor setting with moderate temperature and noise levels. Employees may need to travel occasionally to offices, client locations, or other sites for training and visits. The company provides the equipment needed to work both at home and in the office.

Physical expectations include remaining seated for most of the day, using a computer continuously, speaking and exchanging information with clients and coworkers in person and online, and occasionally moving items weighing 10 lbs or less.

The employer maintains a commitment to diversity and inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer. Hiring decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status.
