Driver - Human Resources

About the role

Al Ain Rotana is looking for an energetic and service-oriented Driver to support colleagues with transportation needs and other driving-related tasks. This role is based in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, and calls for a professional who can deliver safe, reliable, and efficient service while representing the hotel in a courteous manner.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the company bus in a safe, efficient, and considerate way.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, including inspection of oil, fuel, brakes, lights, windshield wipers, water, and tyre pressure.
• Keep proper records of work completed and promptly report any accidents or unusual incidents.
• Ensure a smooth shift handover by collecting relevant information from the previous driver.
• Escalate colleagues’ complaints or concerns to the Human Resources Manager.
• Complete trips and drive the hotel car or bus whenever assigned.
• Transport colleagues safely to their designated destinations.

Education and experience

The role is best suited to someone with vocational training in hospitality and prior experience in transportation. A valid local driving licence is required, along with solid knowledge of local traffic rules.
