Transcorp Hilton Abuja is looking for a dependable, polished driver who can deliver safe, punctual, and high-quality transport services for guests, staff members, and hotel-related operations. The role requires someone who represents the hotel professionally at all times, follows Hilton’s standards for safety and hospitality, and keeps assigned vehicles in excellent working order.
Key responsibilities
- Transport hotel guests, senior leadership, and employees safely to their destinations.
- Provide service that is courteous, discreet, and professional throughout every trip.
- Make sure pickups and drop-offs happen on time according to the schedule.
- Keep assigned vehicles clean, safe, and in roadworthy condition.
- Carry out regular vehicle checks and immediately report any defects or issues.
- Follow all traffic rules, road safety requirements, and internal company guidelines.
- Help guests with luggage and offer simple directions or general information about Abuja when needed.
- Record trip details accurately, including vehicle logs and fuel usage.
- Support hotel errands and delivery needs whenever required.
Qualifications and requirements
- At least an SSCE or an equivalent secondary school qualification.
- A valid Nigerian driver’s licence with a clean driving history.
- Between 3 and 5 years of driving experience, ideally in corporate, hospitality, or executive transport.
- Good familiarity with Abuja roads and traffic rules.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English.
- A strong focus on customer service and a professional attitude.
- High standards of integrity, discretion, and dependability.
Preferred skills
- Defensive driving certification will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience transporting VIPs or expatriates is beneficial.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle upkeep and maintenance.
- Capability to drive long buses such as Tata and Ashok models.
