About the Role
U-Haul is seeking a dedicated Facility Housekeeper to maintain a clean and welcoming environment at their Albany, NY location. This role is crucial for upholding U-Haul's high service standards. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning duties including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and wiping down surfaces in storage units, hallways, and restrooms.
- Manage waste disposal efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, initiating reorders when necessary.
- Undertake additional tasks as directed by management.
Requirements
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- A proactive attitude and a strong willingness to acquire new skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Comfort working in an environment with moderate risks, potentially requiring protective gear like masks, goggles, or gloves due to exposure to fumes or chemicals.
- Capacity for physical exertion, including prolonged periods of standing, moving around, reaching objects at various heights, and lifting/moving items up to 50lbs with or without assistance.
