Role Overview
U-Haul is hiring a Facility Housekeeper in Bedford, Nova Scotia. This full-time onsite role is focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming facility environment. It is suited to someone who is organized, proactive, and attentive to detail. What You’ll Do
- Keep storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other shared spaces clean through sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping.
- Remove waste and help keep garbage and disposal areas tidy.
- Carry out lawn mowing, trimming, and general outdoor grounds upkeep.
- Handle recycling tasks and dump runs when needed.
- Check storage units for cleanliness, occupancy, and any maintenance concerns.
- Maintain the condition of parking areas, driveways, and exterior spaces.
- Monitor cleaning supplies, track inventory, and request replacements as necessary.
- Support basic property upkeep and contribute to the overall appearance of the facility.
- Follow supervisor instructions and take on additional duties as assigned.
