About Titanbay
Titanbay is focused on making private market investing more accessible for wealth managers, private banks, and their clients. The company aims to deliver strong value and service through solutions that help customers approach private markets with greater confidence and better outcomes.
The culture is built around solving difficult problems for customers, staying transparent, acting with integrity, and taking accountability. Team members are encouraged to own their work, move quickly, and build trust with colleagues, clients, and partners.
This role offers the chance to contribute to a business that is working to shape the future of private market investing.
About the Role
Titanbay is hiring an experienced Fund Accountant, or possibly a Senior Fund Accountant depending on background, to join its Finance team in Dublin. The position is suited to someone coming from fund administration or professional services who wants to move into an in-house role with greater ownership and day-to-day influence.
You will help run the financial reporting process across a growing portfolio of closed-ended and open-ended fund structures. The role involves close coordination with the fund administrator, internal stakeholders, and senior leaders to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and scalability as the business expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of fund entities through quarterly reporting, and monthly reporting where required, while coordinating with the fund administrator to make sure deliverables are accurate and on time.
- Carry out the first review of NAV calculations, capital call and distribution schedules, and investor allocation work.
- Respond to investor questions on fund accounting, reporting, and capital activity with clear, accurate, and prompt communication.
- Supervise third-party fund administrators in a constructive way to ensure service quality, precision, and deadlines are met consistently.
- Assist with annual and semi-annual financial statement preparation and support external auditors during the audit cycle.
- Track fund cash movements, fee computations, and reporting at investor level.
- Look for ways to improve processes and introduce AI tools that strengthen controls and boost operational efficiency.
- Work closely with teams in operations, compliance, and investor relations.
Requirements
- At least 3–5+ years of experience in fund accounting, ideally within a fund administrator, asset manager, or management company.
- Solid understanding of NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations.
- Prior experience managing or overseeing external service providers.
- A proactive self-starter who shows initiative, asks the right questions, and takes action without waiting for instructions.
- Comfort using AI tools and modern technology to improve speed and problem-solving.
- Strong attention to detail paired with a practical, solution-focused mindset.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal teams and outside partners.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Luxembourg-domiciled fund structures such as RAIF, SCSp, and SIF.
- A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent; candidates who are part-qualified may also be considered.
- Exposure to AIFMD regulatory obligations.
- Experience working with both closed-ended and open-ended fund structures.
Benefits
- 28 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to carry over up to 5 days each year.
- Employee share options.
- Private health insurance.
- Private dental cover.
- Life insurance worth 3 times salary.
- Flexible pension through salary sacrifice.
- ClassPass health and wellbeing membership.
- Juno lifestyle allowance.
- Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
- ParentPromise digital support for new parents.
- Flexible working arrangements.
- Ability to work from anywhere for up to one month per year.
- Regular team events, lunches, and outings.
