Job overview
This full-time, on-site role is based in Sudbury, Ontario. The position focuses on keeping the property clean, welcoming, and well maintained. In addition to general cleaning support, the role includes outdoor and grounds-related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Carry out landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks
- Clear snow during the winter season
- Collect waste and ensure it is disposed of correctly
- Shift picnic tables, couches, and other furniture as needed
- Load and unload furniture from truck beds or carts
- Help maintain clean, presentable, and inviting shared spaces and washrooms
- Support routine cleaning by mopping, sweeping, and wiping glass and other surfaces
Requirements
- Prior experience in landscaping is preferred
- WHMIS certification is considered an asset
- Ability to stay active throughout the workday, including kneeling, bending, and reaching
- Capacity to lift, push, and pull loads of up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to pass a Canadian background check
- Valid driver’s licence is required
