The opportunity
Woolpert is hiring 2 Interior Designers to join its Sydney team. In this role, you will report to the Interiors Team Leader and contribute to the delivery of commercial workplace and mission-critical projects. The position spans client support, design development, and documentation from early concept stages through to final delivery.
This is a permanent full-time role with hybrid working arrangements.
What you will do
- Support project teams across due diligence, concept design, detailed design, and project documentation as needed.
- Help produce design outputs such as freehand sketches, project documentation, specifications, schedules, and purchase orders.
- Work with consultants and take part in project meetings.
- Attend site visits and assist with responses to RFIs and shop drawings.
- Handle internal project administration tasks, including document control and management.
- Assist Senior Designers and the Project Leader in shaping and developing design direction.
What we are looking for
- A relevant qualification in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in commercial workplace or similar design work, ideally with top-tier clients.
- Strong sketch planning and concept design ability.
- REVIT skills are preferred.
- Clear communication and strong client-facing skills.
Preferred experience
- Exposure to projects ranging from 500 to 5000 square metres.
- Experience building positive relationships with suppliers and clients.
