About the Role
Marina Bay Sands is looking for an IT Operations Support Intern to join its on-site team in Singapore. This position offers the chance to work with experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment while supporting daily technology operations and end-user device management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily incident and service request tickets through the company’s ticketing platform.
- Prepare laptops and desktops by imaging devices using approved tools such as SCCM.
- Install required software through standard deployment utilities such as SCCM.
- Apply Windows updates and patches using company-approved systems.
- Set up and install hardware and peripherals at user locations, including monitors, keyboards, printers, scanners, and other client equipment.
- Diagnose PC hardware and software issues and research practical fixes.
- Carry out troubleshooting for desktop and computer software/hardware problems.
- Support the physical rollout and movement of devices such as monitors, laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Provide daily ticket status updates to the team lead.
- Take on any additional duties assigned by the company as needed.
Requirements
- You must be a full-time matriculated student.
- The internship must count toward your school’s graduation requirements.
- Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and troubleshooting utilities is required.
- You should be open to working rotating shifts, including mornings, afternoons, overnight schedules, weekends, and public holidays.
- Strong customer service and communication skills are important.
- You need to maintain a neat, professional appearance because the role includes interaction with guests.
