Role Overview

Salayel Hospitality is looking for a hands-on and forward-thinking IT Specialist to keep its technology environment running smoothly across hospitality operations. This position supports reliable systems, protects data, and delivers technical assistance across hotel and serviced apartment settings, helping day-to-day work run efficiently and improving the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle everyday technical support requests and resolve issues promptly.
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, software, servers, and network devices.
  • Diagnose and fix problems related to systems, networks, POS, PMS, and other business applications.
  • Support hospitality technology platforms including PMS, POS, access control, CCTV, Wi-Fi, and telephony.
  • Protect information through backups, antivirus maintenance, and adherence to security standards.
  • Keep an eye on system health and address downtime or connection failures quickly.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and service partners for support, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate IT records, equipment inventories, and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with technology setup for new properties, system upgrades, and rollout projects.
  • Guide staff on basic IT usage, cybersecurity awareness, and safe system practices.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar discipline is required.
  • Applicants should have 2–5 years of experience in IT support, ideally within hospitality or multi-location operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows systems, LAN/WAN networking, servers, and hardware troubleshooting is expected.
  • Prior exposure to hospitality platforms such as PMS and POS is a strong advantage.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity, backup procedures, and data protection practices is needed.
  • The role may require support across multiple sites and availability for on-call assistance when necessary.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills are important.
  • Experience in a UAE hospitality environment will be considered an added advantage.
