Job Overview
Typetech IT is looking for a Junior Front-end Developer to join its team in Location, WV. This role is a chance to begin or strengthen your career by contributing to modern web applications built with React and Next.js in a collaborative environment focused on learning and growth.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and upkeep of web applications built with React and Next.js.
- Work alongside senior engineers to identify, debug, and improve front-end issues.
- Apply responsive design practices so interfaces work smoothly across different devices.
- Produce code that is clean, efficient, and clearly documented.
- Take part in team discussions and share input during planning and coordination meetings.
- Keep yourself informed about current best practices, emerging frameworks, and newer technologies.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of JavaScript basics, along with introductory hands-on experience in React and a working knowledge of Next.js.
- Exposure to Tailwind CSS, Shadcn/ui, and responsive web design concepts.
- Strong analytical thinking and a careful eye for detail.
- Ability to communicate well and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Willingness to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic work setting.
- Comfort using AI tools thoughtfully while still applying independent judgment.
- Prior project experience is mandatory.
