About the Role
Affordable Journey Private Limited is hiring a junior web developer to work remotely on improving and maintaining its travel website. The role focuses on enhancing site performance, building new web pages and features, and supporting ongoing technical improvements for a better user experience.
What You’ll Do
- Build, update, and support website functionality across AffordableJourney.com.
- Work on faster page load times, stronger Core Web Vitals, better mobile usability, and smoother overall site experience.
- Create new landing pages, connect affiliate tools, set up tracking, and add custom functionality as needed.
- Track website health, identify problems, and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to apply SEO-focused improvements.
- Handle website security, backups, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Check changes thoroughly and make sure the site works well across browsers and devices.
Who Can Apply
This opportunity is open only to Computer Science Engineering students.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with WordPress-based websites.
- Working knowledge of SEO, affiliate marketing, and content publishing systems.
- Prior exposure to travel, media, or content-led websites will be an advantage.
- A personal desktop or laptop suitable for web development work is required.
- Because the role is fully remote, a dependable internet connection is mandatory.
Compensation
The annual salary offered for this position is ₹4,70,000 to ₹6,00,000.
Additional Details
