Role overview
This entry-level KYC Operations Analyst position supports Anti-Money Laundering monitoring, governance, oversight, and regulatory reporting in partnership with the Compliance and Control team. The core purpose of the role is to help build and manage a dedicated internal Know Your Client (KYC) program.
What you will do
- Work alongside Relationship Management and Compliance teams to help prepare, build, review, and approve electronic KYC records and their supporting documents.
- Collect and update KYC information using both internal resources and external references such as company and regulator websites.
- Coordinate with Relationship Management and Compliance teams to keep system records current from case initiation through approval, and share workflow status updates with a supervisor.
- Check KYC and Customer Identification Program (CIP) records for completeness and accuracy.
- Make sure KYC files reflect local regulatory needs and Global Business Support Unit (BSU) standards.
- Support maintenance of the BSU tool.
- Apply sound judgment when assessing business risk, protect the firm’s reputation and assets, follow applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies, and escalate or report control issues clearly and transparently.
Experience and education
Previous relevant experience is preferred. The role calls for 4 to 6 years of experience in KYC. A bachelor’s degree, university degree, or equivalent experience is required.
